Celebration of Terry's life
Trying to get back to normal but not easy with a broken leg and being unable to walk/move around. Terry’s “celebration of his life” which was put on at Cheltenham Racecourse last Monday was an unbelievable occasion. So many friends and fans including many jockeys and trainers past and present.
Alastair Down, David Mould and Bill Smith gave superb addresses. It was very moving but there was plenty of humour as well. He was an amazing man and lived life to the full and what a life! I am still receiving lovely letters and cards. Thank you so much.
My leg is quietly healing and I hope to be able to go racing on the Tuesday of the Cheltenham Festival when the National Hunt Chase is being named after Terry for this year.
The horses at West Lockinge are doing very well. We have some lovely inmates and good staff. The gallop is in excellent shape and a lot of people are using it from outside. Yogi Breisner has been coming her every 10 days to give lessons in the Indoor School in the village.
We have vacancies for more horses too – youngsters or for pre training.
