May roundup

Most of last Seasons jumpers, which were trained by Mick Channon, are now back here and enjoying their days in the fields in the Sunshine.  Knock House came back on Wednesday having won his bumper at Huntingdon last Sunday.  He should be a lovely hurdler next season.  Warden Hill is still in training and may have one more run in a Novice hurdle before his holidays begin.  And well done to Knox Overstreet, who was here for a couple of months in the winter, and did some jumping just for fun.  He won yesterday on the flat over 2 miles at Chepstow.

Plans are afoot to see some more horses in Ireland very shortly.  If anybody wants to buy a youngster, please let us know - one that jumps well and would be ready to race next Autumn.

Off to Badminton this weekend. Should be an interesting competition with 3 riders chasing the Grand Slam - William Fox Pitt, Andrew Nicholson and Michael Jung.

We're getting busier here now giving lessons and people using our facilities - show jumps and gallops.  Plenty to keep us busy.
