The Paddy Power - Cheltenham

The horses at Mick Channon’s are still doing well and there was a lovely article on Mick in today’s Times.  Calgary Bay runs tomorrow at Cheltenham in the Paddy Power Gold Cup Chase.  He will probably be out speeded by younger swifter opponents but he is in great form and badly needs a race!  Ballypatrick, Ballylifen and Viva Steve run at Plumpton on Monday.

Two of my ex French horses ran well today at Cheltenham today – The Countryside Alliance day.  Swing Bill, whom I picked up for David Johnson in Chantilly some 6 years ago, won the 3 mile Amateur Rider’s Chase for the second year running in great style, and Silver Roque was 3rd in the 2 mile Hcap Chase.

We are off to pick out some more horses in Northern Ireland next week – all with form and all for sale. Watch this space.
